I have been getting email from ADSM-L AT VM.MARIST DOT EDU for about two weeks now, and out of the 300 or so email messages only a few said anything about ADSM/DFS. We are looking for anyone who has

We are using ADSM to backup our DFS filesets for 3 weeks now. We had some initial configuration problems (due to the fact that I didn't know exactly what I was doing at the time). There are still som

Hi, well, we are using ADSM and DFS, and some, but probably few, others also do. So, what is it you want to know? In general, there are two ways to backup DFS filesets with ADSM: First, doing file le

Can you describe the "serious weakenesses" you mentioned? We've been using it since it became available to back up at the file level and haven't noticed any problems. Luckily, we haven't had to resto

Luckily in our shop, nobody is knowledgable enough to know that they can issue the fts mountpoint command, so we have that pretty well controlled, and we only have 53 filesets. We use root as the pri
