I think you'd be better off just post -processing the trapd.log. grep for the records you want and log 'em grep <unique_trap_string> /usr/OV/log/trapd.log > my.trap.log You see trapd uses undocumente

If you want more information about the traps than what is available in trapd.log (and you don't want to change the message of the events) you can use the "command for automatic action" and look at al
