With those settings, events are cached up to the 200K limit, then I think the file is wiped out and continues again up to the limit, until the TEC server is available. So it is still possible to lose

A new event or the nvtecia command will always be necessary to restart the flow of events to TEC. The connection (or re-connection) attempt only occurs when an event is processed. nvtecia -reload sen

You don't say what architecture your NetView is on here but I assume Unix? I think you will find the tec adapter configuration file is actually in /usr/OV/conf/tecint.conf. That said, the BufEvtPath
