Jane, That i know, here is what i want to do. Some of the nodes (non-snmp) i want to ping every 10 Minutes. for status checking, these nodes are acutally servers that do not have SNMP configured. In

What Jane told you is that this is done through the SNMP options dialog. If SNMP is not enabled the devices will be polled by ping ICMP only. Nothing else is required. If devices are shown down when

James, In the SNMP Options i only see the devices that are SNMP enabled. If i manually add a device and do not give the SNMP read/write community string that will be treated as ICMP polled device, ri
