I have an ip address that I gave a temporary node name to in my discovery and ETC/Hosts file. When I later got the official name, I deleted the old ip and symbol from the map. Now I can't re-discover

It may be that your old node name is still present in the availability portion of the database. Try running "uptimer -d" to clear that, and then delete and re-discover your node James Shanks Level 3
