I found these in the /usr/OV/conf/netmon.conf file on my 7.1.3 Netview: So, it looks like this would be the appriate place to turn it on. I haven't tried them myself, though. I found this post in the

I created a rule set to email me upon reception of duplicate IP address traps. After I made these changes and I was really surprised at how many we have. With such a large environment the fun part is

Small point of confusion..... If there is a duplicate address how is it getting added to NetView in the first place? Or does this trap give you a visual cue that you have discovery thrashing back and

I have an ip address that I gave a temporary node name to in my discovery and ETC/Hosts file. When I later got the official name, I deleted the old ip and symbol from the map. Now I can't re-discover

It may be that your old node name is still present in the availability portion of the database. Try running "uptimer -d" to clear that, and then delete and re-discover your node James Shanks Level 3
