If you create a file in /usr/openv/netbackup/bin named bpstart_notify, it will be executed before the backing up of the data starts. A file named bpend_notify will run after the data has been buffere

Copy backup_notify and backup_exit notify from /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies on the master to /usr/openv/netbackup/bin on the client and place the commands you want to run inside. Thanks, Gregg Yu
