- James - Why would you want to remove all the data from your tapes? Are you migrating to a new media format? If youre just wanting to know what tapes to send off site, simply use Vault. Vault handles

- Better option would be to expire all images on all tapes using "bpexpdate -m mediaid -d 0". This would move the tapes to Scratch pool and you can start writing fresh backups on them. Regards, Saranji
