Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a NetBackup 6.0 Solaris 9 master. Shutting netbackup down with either /etc/init.d/netbackup stop or bp.kill_all will leave this process running: MM Processe

In general, a process that won't die with a -9 is hung on pending I/O. Pretty consistent with avrd's role. The only "fix" to a hung I/O process is to satisfy the I/O request or reboot. Sorry - unsati
