Exactly. As the previous poster said, though I haven't confirmed, this will only return them to scratch if they were originally pulled from scratch, so you may have to manually move unassigned tapes

You can add the scratch pool to your bar code rule as your "default" pool. Any new tapes will be assigned there upon injection. You can also look in the GUI and see if any tapes have a "blank" space

My mistake.....when you said "Newly injected" I was thinking "new"....but you were referring to injecting returned expired tapes, correct??? You're correct.....expired tapes, will return to the pool
