If your problem is that the media server's devices are still in the global database you can use the "vmglob" command. Use the "vmglob -listall" to get your baseline. Then you can use the "vmglob -del

also You must change all the bp.conf or list of servers in windows registries... and you must change all the images of the old media server or a restore failover entrance in master bp.conf... regards
