I think this is pretty clear cut - the backup will start at 0300 the next day, and subsequent days. This is why we usually set the frequency to something much less than the actual desired frequency,

When to backup calculation Find last backup Date of comparable type + Frequency = Due time so in your example below if the backup lasts for an hour then it would be 04/05/2012 04:00 + 1 Day = 05/06/2
