I am hoping that someone on the list has access to a Legato document that shows how to move a client index from backup server "A" to backup server "B". I realize there are a lot of issues with this,

Can't currently be done without scanning tapes. It's not the index which is a problem, it's that there are no media database entries to go along with it, and there's no way (unfortunately) to dump cl

David, If you don't care about the clients on Server B then it is possible to move clients from Server A. But if you want to keep clients B indexes intact and append clients from Server A your only o

Thanks, that's what I thought, and the more I think of it, it's probably impossible to do, as there is probably a good chance of having duplicate tape numbers and/or names. Such as FULL:0032 in each
