You can try using the nsrck utility to restore the missing indexes. If there is no vestage of the indexes, then try using "nsrck -L7". I used the GUI to recover an index from one server and it said the recover was successfully completed. But no index. Saying that "nsrck -L7" isn't working does not provide enough information. Are you getting errors? If so, what do the error messages say?
