I wouldn't even though I have had my pains with Networker (particularly 5.x and 6.0). Other than Networker 7.3.x which I upgraded to but rolled back to 7.2.2, Networker just works. We have it fine tu

Brett, You'd be amazed to find out how many companies are in the same boat. Data/Tape/Backup consolidation is huge right now. Networker and NetBackup are both enterprise class software packages and i

I concur with both of the previous posts. When you get to the Enterprise level unless you can clearly justify the costs both in money and time, unless what you have is clearly not working stick with

Speaking of training, I have only had two great experiences as far as training goes and one of them a Legato Networker Admin class. Others in this forum have had and expressed similar experiences at

I would say stick with NetWorker. Then you can restore your old sun backups easily. But remember, if you want it to work, use 7.2.2. don't be tempted to 'upgrade' to 7.3 Hey all, I work in a data cen

Unless something's changed recently, you don't need a NetWorker license to recover data. As such, if someone did decide to migrate to a different backup platform, they'd still be able to recover data
