18 tapes...yikes. No, you should not have to scan them is as they are known to networker (via the mediadb). Choices are: a.) Do a saveset recover (if you know the saveset id). b.) Use nsrck -L7 -t ti

Hi All, Weird restore problem going on here w/ NW 6.1.3 running on Solaris 8. I normally do restores using ssid's so that I can get parallel restores going. In the past I've done this: recover -s nws
