Thank You Tim, The group restart interval was 12, and it is scheduled to start @ 5 pm each evening, so If I did not get to it before 5 AM, I could not really restart it... I've since changed it to 24

Vince / Paul, On our Networker server ( 7.3.4 ) we set the Configuration / Groups / Properties / Advanced / Restart Window to 23 hours. This allows a restart of failed clients within a 23 hour window

That's odd. A restart shouldn't be looking at the schedule at all. It should just be running the existing "work list" that the original start populated. The backup level should be specified in the wo

The restart as far as I can tell does look at the schedule so you must go into Configuration - schedules and set the override level...Note: be sure to Clear the override when the job is complete That

Unix or windows? On unix I'd do something like: $ printf "show name;work list;completion\nprint type:nsr group;name:mygroup\n" You can do the same thing interactively with: $ nsradmin The "work list"
