I need to remove some save sets from some tapes. Does anybody know the command line to delete save sets? We are running AIX. We have co-mingled data, and I need to remove it. Thanks in advance, Mark

nsrmm -d -S savesetnumber will remove the data from the media database. It will remain on the tapes. We have co-mingled data, and I need to remove it. Is that the same as saying "mixed"? To sign off
You generally cannot modify data in the middle of a tape without also erasing any data following it. So Networker does not "remove" individual savesets. You can remove the knowledge of the saveset f
If you need to physically remove the saveset, you will have to delete it first (see Davina's mail) and then clone or stage the tape to create a duplicate that does not contain your deleted files. It
