Yes this is fairly easy. When you run nsrck -L7 clientname, it merges an index backup into the existing index. So this gives you a couple of options. If you have an index backup from just before the

Question is what happens if we do not have an index backup just before the move of the indexes, does this mean we have to run a NSRCK -L7 for each tape that contains indexes for clients? My knowledge

If you are getting them from tape it is the "scanner" command. Question is what happens if we do not have an index backup just before the move of the indexes, does this mean we have to run a NSRCK -L
