Hi all. I have a networker tape with a corrupted label. When I run scanner, it synchronises with the chunks after an initial error message and then proceeds. I suspect that it was caused by the tape

Update on this issue. I am happy to report that NetWorker will, in fact, mount tapes which have no headers. It spends some time synhronising with the blocks it finds and then the tape is ready for us

That is good to hear, as the very reason for the "miniheaders" in between the files on the tape is to allow reading a prtially corrupted tape. Never tested this though. Thanks a lot for the info, if
