I personally don't have any savesets that span (small time guy) but this seems to make perfect sense to me and mminfo man page seems to agree. If your saveset is complete on one volume, you get the c

man mminfo The a is mentioned below. My guess would be the p is for the purged savesets as mentioned below. The second flag indicates the status of the save set. A b indicates that the save set is in
