Last night I replaced my SDLT-600 drives with new LTO4 drives. And now I'm having problems. When I tell Networker to label a tape, it grabs a tape; loads a tape; tries to label a tape, then complains

Looks a known issue : mapping SW naming vs hardware location Physical tape 0 of the lib is not \\.\Tape0 and so on. So, when loading a tape in physical drive X, legato config does not match correct \

If you are running in Windows and using tape device files like \\.\Tape0, etc... then you will have problems as tape libraries are added, modified, deleted, or rebooted. It does not matter if you hav

Once you reboot after the registery key, you will need to edit the libraries with the correct new device names. It's usually easier just to document the library settings and deleted/recreate. -- Matt

This is quite simple : assuming you are not using dynamic device sharing, when you edit the jukebox, you should find the tape device list. The amount of row equals the number of device. Line #0 mean
