Did you really mean to say you are running NetWorker 7.2.2 or 7.4.2? If you are running 7.4.2, then when this problem occurs, how much memory is your server's nsrjobd process using? What does "top"

One more data point ... I updated my Linux NetWorker server from 7.4.2 to 7.4.4 about three months ago. This server backs up 195 clients (a mix of Linux, Windows, Exchange, and one NDMP). I don't do
