Yes. If you want to use flat file backup, you will need to shutdown all Notes related services. How you do this will vary depending on what OS Notes is running on. It's fairly simple to write a scrip
I used to do backups using the flat file method and I never had any problems restoring any databases. That might just be a total stroke of luck ofcause, and I didn't do that many restores. But I woul
