You can use a utility from www.sysinternals.com called process explorer. Search for nsrmmd.exe and there will be a number of them, find the one referencing the hung device in question and kill it. Th

I'm running Networker under Solaris; I can see the nsrmmd processes under 'ps -Af' but I don't know which is associated with the drive I want to kill. Is there a way to track the -n <number> back to

We've had problems with hung drives at our site during cloning. Upgrading to Networker 6.1.3 has not really fixed the problems. On our Solaris 8 server, we run fuser against the drive to look for a r
