I have a large number of tapes that were labeled by my NW server before I mmrecov'ed it. Therefore, NW doesn't know about these tapes. I'l like to either re-label them, so they go into the mm databas

If they don't have any data on them, you can label them (-L not -R). If they have data, then you should use scanner to read them and get their information into the databases and client indexes. Frank
