Once it got a Default tape mounted, it wrote just a Bootstrap... It was the server itself !!! I have an 'Index' group that I run everyday to backup just the client indexes after all our other groups

When I had this problem in the past it was because I had limited the pool to certain backup levels that didn't include the bootstrap. I believe the bootstrap always backs up at level Full. Dave Werth

Bingo.... Thank You Dave, That was apparently it, it was doing an 'incremental' bootstrap because the group that finished just minutes before had done a 'full' bootstrap. The pool did not have 'incr'
