Ian, As you said, this is unsupported... You can however: 1a. Unload tapes from all drives. 1b. Shutdown Networker on Tru64. 2. Copy the /nsr directory over to AIX. Be careful, /nsr might be a symbol

You can even bring your mm and index if the byte-ordering is the same on the machines... Also not supported though. I have moved an Alpha installation to a Linux (x86) this way. Dag To sign off this
