Yes, we have had the missing startup script issue , and it was on RH linux using NW 7.4.2 - To fix it, we just took a copy of the /etc/rc.d/init.d/networker file from a 7.4.1 client and put it in an
/usr/local/webapp/mharc-adsm.org/html/Networker/2008-10/msg00533.html (13,529 bytes)

Not sure whats happening with the startup script, I have not had that happen on redhat but for the linux systems I've seen /nsr and everything beneath it is only created when you run the start script
