LTO-1 tapes should work in LTO-2 drives. In fact, the LTO-2 drives should be able to write to the LTO-1 tape a little faster than an LOT-1 drive... Currently we have 2 EXABYTE 18D (1 tape , 8 slots)

Hi Maarten. The only thing I can add, is we have a couple of SUN L20 (which are HP units) and a couple of sun L180 (which are a storage tek unit using IBM drives). The only difference, is in the way
