Hello! I'm having problems with udev /dev/tape/by-id/ symlinks.. it seems symlinks to tape drives are sometimes (randomly) missing after reboot. Server in question has IBM TS3200 tape library connect

The default udev rules installed by Centos 5.2 use scsi_id, so this bug could be causing your problem. Also, since the symlinks are sometimes being created and sometimes not, a race condition would b
