If I read that right, you have retention set to 1 month as well, so it will recycle after one month! Recycling happens at the first limit reached, so 1 month happens before 45 volumes. -- Mike Holden

If I'm correct, it is probably due to volume retention of 1 month - after one month, the oldest volume will be recycled. It will never go *above* 45, even if you increase retention (in that case it w

They were. But the old files were at the same time deleted according to retention period, so you you maximum volume limit was never actually reached. -- ______________________________________________
