Not necessarily. VS1 tapes are 80GB native each. There is no guarantee that you will get the overly optimistic 2:1 compression rate. More likely you will fit 120GB on each 80GB tape with compression

Tapes are 120GB native capacity and 320GB with compression.  I defined Mail and File pools (Incre, Diff, Full) i am gonna run it and see if it works. List media: Pool: Scratch +--+--+--+--+--+--+--+-

2.75:1 compression? Only if you have unusually compressible data. I assume you meant 160GB native; still, 1.3:1 to 1.5:1 is a much more likely overall compression ratio with real-world data. But the

I dont want to have a single full backup. I want a single full backup per set. I have 5 sets and each set has 7 tapes. I want to keep the full backup and it;s differential and incremental backups for

*AT LEAST* 10, yes. You can get away with 10 if you're absolutely certain your full backup will never for any reason go over two tapes. 12 would be better. But you also need one tape per full backup
