I wanted to give a quick update on the status of BackupPC v4 for Fedora and EPEL 6 & 7. Currently I'm fighting a configuration problem with Apache and the C wrapper which allows BackupPC_Admin to run

Alright guys, I went ahead and created a COPR for BackupPC... https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/hobbes1069/BackupPC/ You just have to go in and download the repository file and copy to /etc/yum

Isn't it all the same? EPEL is semi-official for Centos in that that you can install EPEL by running yum --enablerepo=extras install epel-release. That is, the release package that installs the EPEL

As the first attempt failed, the second went just fine. EPEL repo installed. Grabbed COPR and placed into /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory. Ran "yum update" and then "yum install backuppc" Just not sure
