Michael, I imply that by "active" data pool, you are implying primary storage pool; if that is the case then deleting a primary storage pool volume with discardd=yes will not only remove data on the

I think he means "Active-data" pools as in the storage pools you can populate with the "copy activedata" command. (Introduced TSM5.4) And yes, you can delete from active data pools without affecting
