Eventhough editing the NT registry, I don't think it might work. I face this problem before and ultimately the problem turn out to be the NIC card problem, for instant the compaq NIC has this problem

This is the wrong approach, this is basic functionality of NetWorker that should work, and if it doesn't you should be raising support calls with Legato. It might just be screwed up name resolution s
