Windows Server 2012 R2 - Low memory use - TSM 7.1.6

Hi, I'm very disturb for my server TSM (the secondary)

config 128 Gig Ram 64bits Windows 2012 R2 -
I touch some services windows (theme,printing,etc.. put manual mode) and some other parameter system of my server windows (i dont remember)

now my server refuse to use more 50% of the memory for TSM !!!
its always about 62 go of the memory is use and the main server (exact same server) its normal 72% use of memory (92 go)

Its 4 days I search what happen...

config: 128 Gig Ram - Windows 2012 R2 64bits - TSM 7.1.6 - DB 550 gig Dedup enable
Activelog 164 gig = ACTIVELOGSize 167936 (i modify this parameter too)
I reboot 10 time the server - nothing
I stop some traking in windows monitoring performance and after reboot server problem come out.

What's DBMEMPERCENT set at? Is it Automatic or a value?

You can use this command to check:

query option dbmempercent

If it's a value, you should change it to automatic:

setopt dbmempercent automatic

I know this parameter, Its ok = dbmempercent automatic
3 backup its running and the memomry is 57% (of 128 Gig)

It's normal for DB2 to consume as much as 80% and hold on to it. 57% is not a concern.

I look this server every week during 4 years... I never show memory so low for TSM process...
this is why im worried

Did you recently upgrade Spectrum Protect?
Are you having problems with this server?

today its better 80 go use /128 go
nothing recently, i just put some service on "manual mode". its not the main server ... All client Tsm doesnt connect to this one.
I just rammap of systernal to clean stanby memory and , memory use climb to 80%

you can close the subject, memory is ok now 91 go now

I don't think you ever had a problem to begin with. The server will use what it needs, it only becomes an issue if it needs more memory than you have and you end up with excessive paging.
