Hello,

Windows 2012 R2
TSM server 7.1.3
TSM client 7.1.3

If windows automount is disabled sytem state backup fails(not even starts) with:
Code:
ANS5250E An unexpected error was encountered.
   TSM function name : BackupComplete()
TSM function : 'BackupComplete() failed with error VSS_E_BAD_STATE. 0X80042301'
   TSM return code : -2147212543
   TSM file : ..\..\common\winnt\asrutil.cpp (2500)

If automount enabled no problem exists. Some posts suggested setting efi/recovery volumes online by using diskpart but by doing so I'm getting:
Code:
DISKPART> online volume
This command does not operate on OEM, ESP, or recovery partitions.
Hidden volume such as OEM, ESP and recovery partitions are automatically
onlined by the system. Please select another volume and try again.

The problem is that some software requires automount to be disbaled.
Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Vilius M.

No info on the TSM Support page, I'd recommend opening a PMR.
