Have VTL checkin issue, when trying to checkin a tape (that keeps going unavailable), getting following error ANR8385E All entry/exit ports of library XXXXXX-XXX are empty. Did search and could not find. Any resolution for VTL??

Try search=yes instead of search=bulk. You can also use volrange in conjunction with that to limit the number of volumes to search.
