VMWARE - ANS1017E (RC-50) Session Rejected TCP/IP connection failure

Dear All,

I am new in TSM, and i have this error message, when i try to validate hosts i get error message ANS1017E (RC-50) Session Rejected TCP/IP connection failure.

I found a topic from IBM to unlock admin and i unlocked the user,but the problem remains.

If there is someone and solved the same problem,Please respond to my issue.

Hi,

RC-50 is short for connection failure. A lot of stuff to check:
- TCPS
- TCPP
- Firewall
- Services running on client side
- Error log entries on server and client side

From the picture above, I would check local services (in short, reboot node).

Is your TSM client acceptor daemon configured and running on datamover server?
Is IP address of datamover node (the one returned by "q n ... f=d") reachable from server where is TSMVE WebGUI installed?
