VM-Backup of certain VM's fail (ANS0361I, ANS1062E)

Hello,

TSM Server 8.1.10 on Windows Server 2016
TSM4VE 8.1.11

I have a environment with ~1500 VM's. There are a handful of VM's where the backup fails (both IFFULL and IFINCR)
The errorlog of the datamover logs the following messages:

ANS0361I DIAG: vmOpenVirtualDiskForBackup(): error opening vmware VMDK: disk id=1, rc=109
ANS1228E Sending of object '<VMNAME>' failed
ANS1062E Only a single image may be selected when a destination is entered
All other logs don't show something useful.


Any help would be appreciated.

I could fix it.
Problem was the size of a disk wasn't exactly a multiple of 1MB, as described HERE.

I changed the size of the disk, then the backup was successful.
