VCB file level backup on dynamic disk; TSM

We have a server that we need to do a file-level back up on. The C: drive is formatted as a Dynamic disk. VM support is telling us that we cannot do a file-level backup on a C: drive that is formatted as a Dynamic disk. Our D:, E:, etc dynamic disks backup successfully.

Can anyone verify this? Have others experienced this problem? Any solution?

Take images backup

If you are using TSM then when not integrate with VCB & get images backup. With the new version you can use that to restore both images & file level as required. Check it the following post for more details.
