My copy pool's reuse delay is 6 days and db backup expiration is 6 days as well....

8 days are left since i sent my off site tapes to the vault

when i view vault retrive status it shows only DB tape

my question is why tsm is not showing my copy pool tape in vault retrive ?

What is the percent reclaimable or utilized? Reuse delay only comes into play once the tape has been reclaimed completely. So once the tape is empty then 6 days later you should see it in Vault retrieve state. The DBBackups 6 day expiration means that on the seventh day after the DBBackup tape was created it will go into vault retrieve state.

i want get back my copy pool tapes after 6 days with dbbackup

I think you are not getting the point and you may want to read up on this.

Anyway, as mentioned, the tape goes back ONLY after the reuse period (6 days in your case) is satisfied. The tape shows 0% utilization and has a pending status (for the reuse delay) up to the reuse period (6 days in your case). After 6 days, the tape is marked empty and "q drm" shows as "vaultretrieve". This can only happen after a reclamation is done successfully.
