Hi Friends,
We have setup DRM in TSM to move tapes to DR every day.
As of now, we have one primary Tape storage pool which is part of DRM.
We have created one more primary tape pool for Archive purpose ( for Month-end and Year-end TSM Archives )
To take care of regulatory compliance , we need to keep a copy of the tapes containing Archive Data for 10 years and more.
Can you please suggest , which of the below option will be a better one to do this
1. Create a separte copy pool for Archive and include the Archive Tape pool in DRM .
2. Create a separate copy pool and manually eject the Copy pool tapes regularly to keep them offsite.
