What are peoples view on user groups for specific backup products?
TSM / Spectrum Protect has a pretty good user group community however in North America they are all pretty spread out so unless you're lucky enough to have one local to you or are willing to travel these are difficult to attend?
The other thought we've been discussing is going to a single product user group is fine if that is the only product which you run, where as in the real world we end up using the best tool for the solution or through mergers etc end up with a mixed product backup environment, so would a data protection user group be more of a valuable use of time?
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
