upgrade 6.2.6 to 6.3 or higher

looking for some help upgrading a win2k3 (32bit) 6.2.6 to a Win2k8 R2 (64bit). tried to install 6.3.3 64 bit on w2k8 machine and use the upgrade util but it says the ujpgrade utility is not installed on the target machine.. only upgrade util I know of is the 5.5 .. any info would be great

You will likely need to install 6.2.6 on your 64 bit machine, restore the DB from the 32 bit machine onto the 64 bit machine, then upgrade Spectrum Protect to the desired version, preferably 7.1 or 8.1 as 6.3 is out of support now.

THe 6.3 server code base is still under support until September of 2017. Only the 6.3 clients are EOL.

I was able to restore the DB 6.2.6 on a 64 bit box and upgrade to 7.1.7 successfully. Thanks for you assistance.
