I know vmware backups are agentless and snapshots based. What about Database, like Oracle or MS-SQL, are they also agentless and SnapShots based backups?
Check the pages of the inventory: For Oracle you can check from page 578.
For SQL you can check page from page 589.
In both cases it has a reference you can check in case you want to apply snapshot backups.

As for being fully agentless i can't conclude to an answer as it indicates at some points that "the SPP agent mounts the share" and i got a bit confused.

Read through "backing up Oracle data", but still could not fully understand how could it be backed up by snapshots. I was hoping an clear or easy explanations.. Thanks!
