ubuntu terminal dsmadmc data missing

Sometimes i have to use ubuntu desktop terminal to access TSM server and i noticed very strange behaviour like some data get's missing.

source machine: ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-session-fallback, connecting from usual gnome-terminal
target machine: SLES tsm 6.x series server

Open terminal from ubuntu- make ssh session to sles server- start dsmadmc


i removed actual pool numbers!
If i do q stgp from putty it looks normal:
tsm: CAN>q stgp

Also
from ubuntu q libvol produces totally empty result, while from putty all is there what is needed

why not install administrative console on another client
