Each time dsmadmc administrative client executes TSM command on SunOS (this is TSM 5.5), an empty temporary file is created in /tmp directory with the name like TsmTraceTargetIn_27885, where number appears to be a pid of the process.
Here is sample listing:
prwxr-xr-x 1 george other 0 Feb 19 15:25 TsmTraceTargetIn_27885 prwxr-xr-x 1 george other 0 Feb 19 15:28 TsmTraceTargetIn_27886 prwxr-xr-x 1 george other 0 Feb 19 15:30 TsmTraceTargetIn_27888As new commands are executed the list of temporary files grows and the only way to remove them is manually (i.e. by executing rm command).
Is there a way to force dsmadmc remove a temporary file that it creates at the end of command execution?
Or, perhaps, to suppress creation of the file all together.
Thanks in advance,
George
