TSM vs ProtecTier: 99 vs 75% FULL

Hi Guys,

We've been implementing TSM for a while now and today I'm facing a BIG issue.

Our TSM environment states that our TAPE-VTL stg is 99% FULL (ProtecTIER).
The ProtecTIER itself is showing as around 75% FULL in the GUI.

I've tried to to a reclamation with th=10, but even that's without success.

Backups on the device: only Exchange backups.

Any ideas?

Do you use VTL on Protectier for this stg pool ? If yes, please check and define more LTO to the stg

define vol <stg pool name> <volname>

Maxscratch= 1500 (=estimated capacity)
Protectier=deduplication.

Increase the maxscratch ?
