TSM service not stopping VSS Service when finished with backup

I've got a problem where the TSM agent will run it's scheduled backup but when finished, it wont' stop the VSS service. This is causing problems with other types of jobs that use the VSS service being unable to run since the VSS service is in use.

I do get this error in the dsmerror.log file:
ANS1512E Scheduled event 'DAILY' failed. Return code = 12.

I'm running the TSM 7.1.6.4 agent.

That's not the cause of the failure though, but the result of a previous error. There should be other error messages prior to that during the backup causing the backup to fail. Possibly, that's related to the VSS issue.

For VSS, you should check the event viewer for VSS errors, that may give you some more meaningful message to Google on.
